• Letters of Guarantee will not be accepted unless the customer has proper credit with New York Container Terminal.
• Guarantees must be faxed on company letterhead—no verbal or over the phone guarantees will be accepted.

• Dock Receipts or Copies of check alone will not be accepted as a guarantee.
• Shipments accruing charges in the amount of $1.00 - $899.00 per daily activity, require payment or guarantee of payment prior to release of shipment.
• Total daily guarantees accruing charges that exceed $900.00 must be paid in advance by cash or certified check prior to release of shipment.

If your company has a credit problem - past due invoice(s), your guarantee will be faxed back to you stating NO CREDIT. Maximum credit limit per customer is $3,500.00. Invoices must be paid within 21 days of the date of the invoice.
