Effective January 19, 2010, New York Container Terminal gate hours will change.
After careful review of NYCT gate volumes we hereby advise that our gate hours will be amended as follows and effective as of Tuesday, January 19, 2010:
Monday - Friday:
Gate hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Double moves: until 3:30pm
Single moves: until 4:00pm
Reefer receiving or delivery: until 3:30pm
Yard closed: 5:00pm
Kindly note that, Monday through Friday, Out of Gauge cargo will be received/delivered until 3:00pm, Haz Mat cargo will be received/delivered until 3:30pm, while all AQI related activity must be routed in by 2:30pm.
If heavy gate volume exists on any day, we will make a decision to remain open by early afternoon on that particular day to ensure that all trucks are processed.
